Arrival of fishermen in Mbour

Discover a typically African town and experience the indescribable atmosphere of one of Senegal’s main fishing ports.

Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll visit Mbour’s daily market, featuring stalls selling spices, fruit and vegetables, fabrics and handicrafts. You’ll continue on to the fishing port, one of Senegal’s most important artisanal fishing harbors.

The arrival of the fishermen in their colorful pirogues gives rise to a flurry of activity:

• unloading the fish and taking the pirogues out of the water
• negotiating piles of fish on the sand
• overflowing cart loads
• salting
• smoking and drying species not suitable for export
• etc…

• If 2 Persons : 25 000 FCFA /Pers
• If 3 Persons : 20 000 FCFA /Pers
• If 4 Persons or more : 15 000 FCFA /Pers
• Half price for children under 12 years old
