Early morning departure for the Senegalese capital, Dakar, and its seaport. You’ll take a rowboat to Gorée Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site steeped in the history of the slave trade. You’ll visit the museums and the slave house, and admire the colonial buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries.
After lunch by the sea, you’ll return to Dakar and continue your excursion to Lac Rose, where you’ll take a boat tour of the lake and discover the salt-collecting activities of this exceptional site.
