Horse-drawn carriage ride. You’ll discover this city by horse-drawn carriage, its ethnic groups, its culture and the legendary personalities who have fallen under its spell. But also its colonial buildings.

Then visit the popular fishing district (Nguet Ndar).

Day 2
Visit Djoudj Park, the world’s third-largest bird sanctuary, 60 km north of Saint-Louis. Thousands of bird species live here.
Visit the park by pirogue to see the pelicans and other migratory birds.
Lunch in Saint-Louis.
Continuation to Lompoul.
Arrival at the Lompoul eco-lodge around 6pm.
Camel ride at sunset, Djembé evening around a fire.
Overnight in Mauritanian tents at the eco-lodge.
Day 3
Morning one-hour quad ride over the dunes and beach of Lompoul (2 people per machine).
Then off to the town of Thiès. On the way, we’ll stop to visit a basketry workshop.
